Frostburg State University, Department of Music, seeks part-time Adjunct Lecturers for private instruction and classroom.

Description of Ongoing/New Duties

Teach private instruction in any of the following areas:
• Flute
• Oboe
• Trumpet
• Trombone/Euphonium Tuba
• Percussion
• Violin/Viola
• Cello
• Double Bass
• Guitar
• Jazz Guitar
• Jazz Bass
• Jazz Piano
• Drum-Set
• Voice
• Jazz Voice

Opportunity to teach undergraduate courses for Music majors and minors may be available on an as-needed basis. These courses could include the following:
• Music Appreciation
• Music in Contemporary Culture – History of Rock
• Music of Africa, Asia, and the Americas
• Gender and Sexuality in Music
• Jazz History
• Music Fundamentals
• Introduction to Music Theory

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in performance or related music academic field required. Application materials submitted must provide a sample video performance or audio recording (file or link).

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience preferred. Online teaching experience helpful but not required.
